A Productive Start to the Day

We are living in a life where technology is surrounding our lives. Even prior to this unfortunate pandemic, we still utilized technology. However, in our present lives we are bound to use technology to learn. We struggle at times with technology like wifi, cameras not working, mics carrying technical issues, and so much more. After Zoom meetings, our eyes are in pain from the amount of blue light coming from the computer, and we are perhaps tired of constantly using technology by this point. In order to have a mindset to be productive and be focused the key is having a cleaned up workspace. My mom always said "a messy desk messy mind." With this mindset, I have grown and learned to get into the habit of setting up my desk clean and pure. Setting up my desk before school has drastically changed the start of my day to a very productive one. I no longer feel overwhelmed with setting up my desk during class time. I always keep a pencil, a pen, an eraser, and my charger ready to go. Washing my face has also enhanced my mornings. With the sensation of cold and fresh water on my face, my eyes were suddenly opened from the tiredness. When it's time for a break, a great habit is to constantly perform exercises for your eyes, since you are looking at a screen for such a long period of time. After school time it is a good idea to take a break from using technology. One idea is to take a stroll or a bike ride around your neighborhood. These things personally have benefitted my lifestyle in the world of digital learning and presumably, it can help your lifestyle as well.
