This August a prequel to the famous 1982 Jim Henson movie, The Dark Crystal, was released. You may have never heard of this movie, but I am sure most of your parents know about it. The new prequel is called The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance. I will explain briefly what this show is about. It revolves around a land called Thra, many creatures live here. But Thra is slowly rotting away because the heart of the land, otherwise known as the crystal, is being abused by outsiders. Who are these outsiders you may ask? You’ll have to watch and see the puppet film! You heard me correctly, they used puppets. Originally intending to use CGI they soon transitioned over to puppets seeing that they made the movie more lifelike. I would definitely recommend the movie and the prequel!
