On October 4th at Walter Reed, the fitness olympics started! This was a great time for people with athletic talents to sign up and compete in things like shuttle run and pole climbing. A lot of people are really good at P.E., so they become renowned for their awesome P.E. skills when they participate in the fitness olympics. The sports to participate in are known as (not in order/not limited to): pole climbing, jump-rope, flexed-arm hang, chin-ups, curl-ups, pushups, shuttle run, PACERs, and the mile.

Congratulations to all of the people participating in the fitness olympics so far, and good luck to all of the Walter Reed students who want 1st place! Doing something in the fitness olympics is great for your body health. It’s also a good way to get some exercise and practice for a real test that will count for your grade, like the PACER test.

Nadya couldn’t wait. She was going all the way to Australia with her parents and her best friend, Charity, to see the Great Barrier Reef!...
