This week’s topic is (drumroll please!) Happy Birthday, Walter Reed!
Yes, Walter Reed will be celebrating its 80th Birthday this year! (Whoo-hoo!) During its 80 years of existence, Walter Reed has appeared in many famous shows and movies such as Malcolm in the Middle and Transformers.
Also, Walter Reed has the oldest continuous Highly Gifted program in LAUSD, called IHP and the program was founded in 1970!
Wow, Walter Reed! You’ve come a long way! Let’s give a big round of applause for our school, Walter Reed Middle School!
