JUMP FORCE: Doesn’t Jump to Expectations, But Leaves Enough Force

Hello Reed Reviewers and basically everyone else, I could be late to review this, I just couldn’t get this game earlier because I just didn’t have time, now let’s just get into the review.

First of, it’s gameplay and combat is the funnest part of the game.  Also, since there is a story mode, let’s be honest no-one cares for the campaign, everyone came for the fighting and if you have played the story mode, you will realize how ugly and bad it is. The animation during cutscenes in the story mode is laughably awful, which at this point it’s rushed.  I also don’t get how they put so much work and time into the reveal trailer, but do so badly in story mode.  The only type of animation I like

is the design for the playable characters, it looks pretty good to be honest. Ok, let’s get back to the positives about this game.

It’s really fun, which the developers have focused on, and the gameplay enjoyable. The cutscenes during the special attacks are satisfying to watch and there is literally nothing wrong with it.   The character customization is pretty good, this is exactly what players came for. Now for some negatives, the story and the cutscenes make the game look like a rushed product. Overall, it wasn’t bad or great, it was just fine.

Verdict: 7.5/10 or C+
