New Year's Resolutions

Happy New Year! New Years Day is a great holiday, everybody around you is making resolutions for the better. But sadly, less than 25% of people stay committed to their resolution. So, how can you be part of that 25%?

The first thing you can do is give yourself a realistic goal. If you are a C- average student, don’t expect to get A’s right away. Start small and aim for a B or even a B+, then work up to an A- and eventually an A+. After you have set your goal, tell your friends about it. Having people around you to encourage you is a great strategy, because then you will feel more obligated and motivated to meet your goal. Give yourself some more motivation. Sure an A+ is pretty cool, but what about an A+ and $5? Rewarding yourself gives you more motivation than you originally had. This also lines up with telling people that you know, because your parents will probably be willing to give you a reward.

That is all! Goodluck completing your New Year’s Resolution!
