This year, many of us were disappointed to find out that one of THE best after-school events here at Reed, HalloReed, was not going to happen.  Instead, we were offered a movie screening of The Gremlins, as a festive movie night. As a 7th grader, I was personally really looking forward to it. But many students that are in the 6th grade won’t be able to experience it until next year, or maybe even, not at all. The first question that many of you might have is, “What? Why did they replace it?” And to that I say, I have no clue.  I suggest you ask Principal Ortiz. So HallowReed was replaced, but who’s to say that you can't have fun at movie night? It's the best alternative that actual trick or treating, so go check it out!

Nadya couldn’t wait. She was going all the way to Australia with her parents and her best friend, Charity, to see the Great Barrier Reef!...
