Yay! Its October! But other than the spooks and the skeletons there is something else… SPLATOON! But as you can probably tell from the title its about the DLC, Octo Expansion. Also if you’re reading to this point you probably already played the DLC or you don’t care. If neither of those are true and you don’t want spoilers just stop reading and go play it, then come back and continue... Ok, back to the review. Octo expansion is a really fun piece of DLC to Splatoon 2. It is a single player part, and is much better than the main story. The main story levels were made to be played with all available weapons. But, in Octo Expansion there are two or three different weapons you play the levels with. The story revolves around you, an Octarian. Octarians are the oppressed species in the Splatoon world. They evolved from Octopi, while Inklings evolved from Squids. Back to the game, after hearing Calamari Incantation you are freed from Octarian society and are on a quest to find the “Promised Land” Inkopolis. You receive a device called the CQ-80, giving you access to collect the four “Thangs” to get to Inkopolis. To find these “Thangs” you have to travel on the lines of the Deep Sea Metro. Each line has certain stops that are the levels. There are 10 lines, A through J, the hardest being J. The end game story is pretty fun and unusual and I’m not going to spoil it so go play it you squid kids.

Nadya couldn’t wait. She was going all the way to Australia with her parents and her best friend, Charity, to see the Great Barrier Reef!...
